About the training
In this training you will learn how to effectively apply MFR in your yoga practice and teachings. MFR is the abbreviation for myofascial release. Myofascia is the connective tissue in and around our muscles. You will learn a myriad of techniques using various props: massage balls of different sizes, blankets and blocks. You will also learn ways of applying the techniques for yourself, als well as teaching them to others. Furthermore, we will cover how to enhance your asana classes with MFR techniques.
This training takes place in three weekends. You can either join all of them of join separate modules.

About the teachers
About Esther
Esther’s classes are described as playful, safe, yet challenging. In her classes, there is room for exploration, and all emotions are welcome. With humour and personal attention she hopes to spark your own curiosity about your body and mind. She likes to pay attention to detail and this shows in her yoga classes. After studying and teaching yoga for several years, Esther decided to dive deeper into anatomy by going back to school for a PT-degree. She now combines working as a PT in neuro-rehab with teaching yoga.
About Dieuwertje
I am Dieuwertje Homan, owner of Open Yoga. When I was 25 I was introduced to yoga. Soon I noticed that I could not and would not do without it. I did indeed become more flexible, but it was the increase in mental and emotional balance that gave me direction. Yoga became my way of staying with myself in this hectic life. I wanted to share this with the people around me: increase your awareness together, find your path and become fitter at the same time. Feeling better about yourself, literally and figuratively. That is where Open Yoga came from: sharing this feeling with as many people as possible!
Passing on knowledge and the love for yoga combined with entrepreneurship is a very nice combination for me. And with much passion and love I run this beautiful company.
