About yoga teacher Margonda
As a rider you need a flexible, strong and relaxed body, which is free from tension and cramps. I was looking for balance and consciousness.
That’s how I came into contact with yoga at the gym, first to relax, like so many people start with yoga. After trying different types of classes, I felt most at home with the physically more demanding yoga forms such as power yoga and ashtanga. Only when I am challenged physically does relaxation occur mentally.
Yoga has now become a lifestyle. To broaden my knowledge and gain inspiration, I take weekly lessons and regular workshops with, among others, Tony Giuliano, Kenny Graham, Stephen Ewashkiw, Ron van de Post, Yvonne de Hoop, Wieteke van Meer, and of course Mandy and Dieuwertje.
In 2014 I completed my 200 hour teacher training and I attend first aid training annually. I was looking for efficient communication with my horse. As a rider I wanted to learn to control and feel my body better.
And I found yoga.
