Program

Weaving your Way to Confident Teaching (20HR)

With Dulcinea Moran

What makes a great yoga teacher stand out? Is it their theming, their cues, their ability to teach in Sanskrit, their individual voice? We believe it is a blend of all of these things and more.

If you are a teacher who would like to deepen your teaching skills and tap into what makes your teaching strong and unique in these ways, we have the training program for you.

Join Dulcinea Moran for Weaving Your Way to Confident Teaching.

About the program

This is a program that is great for experienced and new yoga teachers alike. It is designed to help you ground into your own energy as a teacher, hone in your individual voice, and to get more confident speaking to the room in an authentic way for you.

This is a small group program, so you will get individual attention from Dulcinea and your peers as you take your teaching to the next level through learning new ways to weave themes into your classes, a deep dive into cueing, understanding the importance of and getting comfortable with teaching in Sanskrit, group teaching practice, real-time feedback, writing and embodiment exercises, talks from Dulcinea, and opportunities to tap into your inherent creativity. Like yoga practice, teaching is a craft, and it takes time to find your style.

Sign up soon so you can guarantee your space in this special program, which also grants you 20 CE credits with Yoga Alliance as a part of your 300 hour certification journey.

About Dulcinea

Dulcinea Rosalie Moran has been a daily yogic practitioner for years, and is highly devoted to all the limbs of the path of Yoga. Originally self-taught, Dulcinea has since become a dedicated student of Greta Hill in her Rasa Yoga classes, as well as of Troy Lucero in his Ashtanga Mysore-style independent study at Acme Yoga Project. Extending gratitude to her teachers is highly important to Dulcinea in her daily Sadhana, always remembering that she is a student first before she steps in to the seat of the teacher each day. Dulcinea earned her 200-hour teacher certification from Greta Hill’s Rasa Yoga Training at Bala Yoga in February of 2019.

Dulcinea’s teaching demeanor is nurturing and caring, which provides for a supportive environment for her students to explore their edges in her strong yet fluid sequences. Dulcinea’s favorite families of asana to teach are heart openers and standing balance poses, but you’ll also catch her teaching a balanced mix of twists, fiery core work, yummy hip openers, and more. Dulcinea also has a BA + MFA in Fine Arts, and her painting practice informs her creative sequences she plans for class. Dulcinea believes in the power of showing up in the practice, and especially in the breath, as a vehicle for healing and true transformation, both in herself and in her students.
