About Sarah

Sarah has been practicing yoga since 2007 and teaching since 2010. Although she has settled back in her hometown for quite some time now, she used to love to travel and live somewhere around the globe. She took her first yoga class on the beautiful island Aruba and has since then developed a great love for this practice.

Known for teaching from her heart she is dedicated to offer her students more insight and wisdom about themselves by combining the physical aspect of yoga with the philosophical. Her classes often focus around a theme and although she loves to teach any kind of flow class she also likes to guide her students through more restorative yoga poses to fully relax.

She is forever grateful for her first yoga teacher Luraine Maduro, who really set the foundation for her further yoga teaching path. Furthermore she felt very fortunate that she was able to continue to study at Open Yoga with a variety of international teachers such as Kenny Graham, Neda Honorvar and with Ashtanga yoga teacher Adarsh Williams.

Sarah is a 500 RYT yoga teacher and has her roots imbedded in Vinyasa Flow and mindfulness. She teaches a variety of classes such as Hatha Flow, Vinyasa and Stretch & Flex. Currently she is also one of the teachers of the 200 hrs Teacher Training where she has the opportunity to dive deeper with the students into the philosophical aspects that yoga has to offer.
